Girl, Interrumped

It’s hard choose only one movie because there are many that I like and that I see constantly. Generally I don’t see new movies, always end up in one that I have already seen. Could be boring, I know, but I need to know the end first. For that reason, when I want to see a movie I think of the already seen.

But of all the movies that I’ve already seen, which that I like the most and never boring to me it’s Girl, interrupted. I know it by memory but every time that I see it's like the first time. The movie have characters really goods, especially the Angelina Jolie and Winona Ryder role. The movie have something special, could be melancholy, madness and happiness at the same time. I don't know about what type of movie is because it's not romance or scare movie, neither science fiction. For me it's just  unique and special movie.

It's an old movie but the topic it's always relevant and current. As a summary it's the story of a young woman who is interned in a psychiatric. In there she knows different personal stories and created a beautiful friendship with the other girls. It's a movie that question about how people see the madness. I really love how the character connect with us.

I’ve two favorites’ moments. The first one, it’s when all the girls of psychiatric take a walk and go to the iced-cream parlor. In this places they acting like a crazy persons and I love it because they pocket to the social prejudice about crazy people and they are the ones who laugh at the “normal” people.  The other moment that I like, it´s when the nurses lock one of the girls in a special room because she get out of control and in the night their friends come to visit and sing together “Downtown”.  There are a kind of solidarity, sisterhood and loyalty in that scene.

I can tell more scenes but I would be doing an awful spoiler but you should see the movie. Also Angelina Jolie won an Oscar for her character.
